Violinist Alex DePue Guests Fiancee Aria Noelle Curzon!

Solo Show in Los Angeles on Friday, September 27th at 8pm

You’ve been selected to receive this email according to your geographic location!
Yes, you’re in Southern California, and I know that from using my special Extra Sensory Perception alone!
What a wonderful time to be here with all of this technology abound… anyway,
I’m adoin’ a SOLO SHOW in LA at one of those so-secret-ya-gotta-be-cool-to-even-know-about-it… kinds of venues there, called The Coffee Gallery Backstage.
Bob Stane, the proprietor there, has been a close personal friend of mine for many years, and has been responsible in lending additional spotlight for the career paths of other folks in the industry, like Johnny Carson, just for example.
For this show on Friday night of September 27th, I’ll be doing a more “recital-esque” performance, and for the first set, will include the Bach Partita #3 in its entirety, as well as other selections from my straight-up Classical repertoire. The second set will include all of those “hits” seemingly popular at YouTube over the years, and I will get “loopy” with ya, and put to use my new loop station, where I can record tracks LIVE, right in front of you, and then literally “overdub” in the same moment.
I’m honing my chops, you see, as we begin the audition process among symphonies from coast to coast, hoping to soon land a seat with a fine orchestra and finally “SETTLE DOWN”. lol (With the upcoming MARRIAGE to my fianceé Aria Noelle Curzon, I now have, what do they say? “mouths to feed”?? That’s so… I don’t know… TRUE! lol)
And it’ll happen! …and with many thanks to Bob Stane for accommodating my last-minute request for this show, the idea is to perform for a live audience just prior to my first audition of this nature, which happens the very next day and in the same area.
Rumor has it that LA actress, Aria Noelle Curzon, just might be making a guest appearance with us that night, and you won’t want to miss THAT, do ya??
The link below will take you directly to the ticket information, lol and I’m really looking forward to seeing you all there.
-Alex DePue, the GREATEST… the BESTEST Fiddler on the PLANET?!! (Thank you Muhammad Ali for making me possible.)

Here’s the ticket link to Bob’s announcement of the new show, it’s beautiful!

One of my life's most musical moments, all documented via video here from the Mainly Mozart Festival's 2020 Season, as performed with my kid brother (let's be fair, he's certainly not anything like a "kid" anymore, especially when he lights into that fiddle!), Mr. Zachary DePue. This time, Zach is literally improvising, on the spot, what one could only deem the unwritten second violin part (just as it SHOULD have been written!), and along with yours truly playing the original score for solo violin, as written by Monti... but THEN, folks, and without giving away all of our surprises (you must listen!), we have also featured here IMMENSE talent from the likes of these other alien-like creatures who are just overflowing with musicality: -Flugelhorn / trumpeter, Mr. Conrad Jones-Joshua Fobare playing the everlasting trill on that piano (lol), along with -Matt Scarano on the drums, and last, yet certainly never least, -Ranaan Meyer with some BEAUTIFUL solo work on the double bass. "Solo" on the double bass, you say?! YES! You won't even believe it! It was truly my own mad, MAD pleasure having had the opportunity in joining up with these young cats to provide a night of much-needed beauty last year, all made possible by the lovely Nancy Laturno and the beloved Mainly Mozart organization. Tonight's upload extends also the most honorable mentions going out to my beloved wife, -Aria Noelle Curzon-DePue, for her video editing skills, and also -Mrs. Katie McBride-Muzquiz, the not-so-often-heard-name, responsible for making the wheels of that Mainly Mozart bus run impeccably perfectly spinnin' round and round.Much love to ALL y'all from your Fiddler tonight! AND... AND... MORE COMING SOONLY! -AD ... See MoreSee Less
