Singer/Songwriter, Danny Allen Fernelius

– a top client of ours here at OVNI Studios (a subsidiary of The Fiddler, LLC) for many years, continues to evolve musically as our working relationship (and personal friendship) has grown.

“Doxology”, the track featured here, was the first song I produced for Danny, and we are very proud of how it turned out. Since then, we worked together on his song “Breath of An Angel” which featured another OVNI artist, Aria Noelle Curzon, as a duet, and as co-writer on lyrics. We are now in the final mixing stages of his next tune, which is scheduled for release in September, 2020.

Music and singing have always been a big part of Danny’s life. As a child growing up around the Detroit area, the very first opportunities to sing took place on the front porches of elderly neighbors. A nickel a song was big money! It inspired Danny to believe there could be a future in music for him. From the day he purchased his first quality guitar he developed a love for creating original arrangements and music.

As a young adult Danny became involved in “Teens for Christ,” an East Michigan choral ensemble ministry made up of several hundred vocalists. He took on tasks from driving the coach bus, running sound, playing guitar, and co-directing a blessed and productive ministry. He felt truly blessed at seeing many lives inspired and changed through worship and Christian music.

In 1991 Danny joined the Michigan Ohio Choir under the direction of Thurlow Spurr. That very first year, the choir travelled to Moscow and performed alongside Larnelle Harris in the Kremlin 10 days after the fall of the Russian government. Through this journey, the Lord called Danny into music ministry, initiating a seven-year concert tour performing original music at venues throughout Michigan.

Danny released his first LP “Claim Your Inheritance” in 1998.

After seven years of Danny Allen Ministries, Danny returned to the Michigan Ohio Choir, where he performed with the Three Tenors, The Ensemble, as well as being a featured Soloist. Danny has enjoyed the opportunity to perform concerts alongside a number of renowned Grammy Artists, such as Bill and Gloria Gaither, Larnelle Harris, Sandi Patti, & Dino.

In 2014, Danny began performing benefit Christmas concerts for the Compassionate Life Foundation. Through this work came a rebirth of artistic creativity. In 2017, Danny returned to writing music, and released “Song of Praise”, produced by Alex Depue. At the same time, Danny wrote “For Love of Friends”, which he performed as a duet with David Winans II. Produce by Marshall Block. “For Love of Friend” was nominated in 2018 by the Detroit Music Awards Foundation for “Outstanding Christian/Gospel Song”. In 2019, Danny was again nominated by the DMA for “Outstanding Christian/Gospel Song Writer for “Lord Go Easy”.

Danny’s future plans are to write, produce, and release a host of original music over the next 5-10 years. Releases in 2018 included are, “Dogs On The Hill”, “With You In This World”, “Oh Baby I Want You” & “Lord Go Easy”. Danny continues to write and release music, and is actively working with Alex DePue on producing his latest tracks. More good music is on the way soon, as the next release is scheduled for September, 2020!

Putting on my game face as I prepped to sing with the incredible Maestro Miguel "Miguelvis" DeHoyos this past Saturday. It was a small glimpse of what is to come. There are conversations of us recording a tribute album to our beloved Fiddler, and which pieces would be really fitting for such a project. Please keep up as we go, your support along the way will be GREATLY appreciated. This is so close to our hearts, and an inspiration to keep us both pressing on and stretching and growing in new ways. Working with a world class musician who also happens to be one of my husband's favorite people is truly an honor for me. Alex will always be with us both, absolutely no doubt about that. ❤️Now, on to finish my speech introducing Alex for his induction into the San Diego Music Hall of Fame this Friday, and practicing my small part in a musical tribute. ❤️ Love, Mrs. Fiddler #AlexDePue #Legendary #NeverForgotten #Beloved #MiguelDeHoyos ... Wow, a lot of similarities to Alex, he definitely used the violin to think things through. Love this. ❤️Albert Einstein, began his violin lessons at age 6. While doing poorly in school, Pauline Koch, his mother, consistently took him to weekly violin lessons and encouraged his daily practice. His favorite pieces of music were Mozart’s Violin Sonatas. Reportedly, he repeated K. 296 (in C) more than any other. This was also the first work I ever performed for a live audience, and thereby has a deep essence for me. That was at @meritmusic in the Chicago loop, and remains my favorite of Mozart’s sonatas, for any instrument.Einstein carried his violin with him wherever he traveled to lecture, because he also recognized and acknowledged how music sharpens the mind. His last girlfriend, Joanna Fantova wrote in her journal that Einstein would stay up late, playing his violin in the kitchen with his book of equations open on the table, and pencil in his bow hand.“He played, staring towards the ceiling. Then, suddenly in the middle of playing, he would shout excitedly, ‘I’ve got it!’” — Joanna Fantova#theviolindoctor #violin #violinplayer #einstein #alberteinstein #physicist #neildegrassetyson #violín #violinmusic #violinshow #violinsolo ...
